Our team is taking a well deserved break for Free Yourself Week. During this time, live support and setup assistance will be unavailable. The Dual-Screen 3 works with almost every laptop! It fits laptops between 13 and 18 inches and supports all operating systems, including Mac, Windows, ChromeOS, and Linux.
All users (Mac, Windows, ChromeOS, Linux): Check what kind of ports your laptop has.
- If your USB-C port says DisplayPort, DP Alt Mode, or Thunderbolt 3 (or higher), you're all set β no adapter needed.
- If your USB-C port only says USB-C, USB 3.2, or Gen 1 and does not mention DisplayPort or Thunderbolt, your setup will need the Tri-Screen 3 Mac Adapter, even if you dont have a Mac laptop.Β
- If your laptop only has USB-A ports, you'll need a USB-A to USB-C converter and the Tri-Screen 3 Mac Adapter, even if your laptop is not a Mac.
Note for Mac users: Unlike the Tri-Screen 3, most Mac usersΒ do not need the adapter for the Dual-Screen 3 β as long as your USB-C port supports DisplayPort or Thunderbolt 3+.Β
If you're unsure, check your port specs using the steps listedΒ here.Β
Still Unsure?
No problem. Just send us your laptop's exact model name (for example, Lenovo Yoga 7i 14-inch, 2023), and we'll let you know exactly what you need.
