My streaming services like Netflix and YouTube are not working when connected. How to fix?Updated 8 hours ago

When DisplayLink screens are connected some protected content in iTunes, HBO, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+, YouTube TV or Udemy and other applications may not play. In those cases the video would remain black while audio is still playing.

A workaround is to temporarily disconnect all DisplayLink screens, switch to another browser or disable hardware acceleration in your browser to access protected content.

Here is how to disable hardware acceleration in Chrome: 

1. Open Chrome.

2. Click on the three dots in the upper-right corner to open the menu.

3. Go to Settings.

4. On the left side, select System.

5. Under the System section, toggle the switch for Use hardware acceleration when available to On or Off.

6. Restart Chrome.
