Compatibility Guide for the Xebec Tri-Screen 2
The Xebec Tri-Screen 2 is compatible with a variety of devices, including Mac, Windows, Linux, and Chromebook. Essentially, any device with a video-out source can connect to the Tri-Screen 2. Each screen will require both video and power connections, though the specific setup may vary depending on your laptop.
How to Check Compatibility:
1. Check out our Getting Started Guide: To determine the best way to connect your Tri-Screen 2 to your specific laptop, please refer to our Getting Started Guide. Please note that this guide will be easier to use with the Tri-Screen in hand. When asked if you have an image on your screen, simply select "Yes".
2. Laptop Recommendations: We recommend using the Xebec Tri-Screen 2 with traditional-style laptops rather than tablets or iPads.
Adapter Requirements:
Some laptops, such as the MacBook M1, M2, and M3, may require the Tri-Screen 2 Adapter. This adapter is necessary for laptops that have ports that do not provide power and video support for external screens. To determine if you need an adapter, take our compatibility quiz here.
