The Splitter is designed specifically for Mac laptops, allowing you to connect both screens using a single port. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth setup and proper functionality.
Step 1: Unboxing and Connections
1. Unbox your Splitter
2. Connect the Splitter to the USB-C port on your Mac laptop.
3. Connect your two external Snap Screens to the Splitter using the integrated cables of the Snap Bracket.
Step 2: Download the DisplayLink Driver
The Splitter requires the DisplayLink driver to function correctly with macOS. Here's how to download and install the driver:
1. Go to the DisplayLink Driver Download Page
2. Download the latest driver for macOS by selecting the correct version compatible with your operating system.
3. Once downloaded, open the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
4. After installation, restart your Mac to apply the changes. You will know your driver is up and running when you see two overlapping grey boxes on the top bar of your Mac laptop like the picture below:
